My son, Hunter, is the one of the coolest people I’ve ever met. He throws almost anything he can get his hands on. He’s tenderhearted and sweet, has a major sweet tooth, loves Toy Story, he’s polite and well-behaived (that’s because he has an out-of-this-world-awesome Mom). He melts my heart… he wants to hang out with me. He calls me “Daaaaaaddy”.

Check out the new Get the Word Out! site here! It has a schedule that’s updated regularly, and if you haven’t been to one yet, or if you haven’t ever heard about Get the Word Out, pray about going. It ROCKED Tara’s and my world!

Hey, have a great day today!

Man, I don’t know if you are sensing this, but there is a big-time momentum spiritually right now! Seriously, it’s been dry for so long spiritually, and now God is starting to bring some rain again. I’m hearing of people all over being drawn to pray, where they haven’t had a desire to in a long time, as in years, and they’re lives are being changed! Hey, don’t sit on the sidelines, jump in the game… I’m serious, you don’t want to miss this! Start seeking Him like crazy in your spare time. Start studying the Bible like mad and ask the Holy Spirit to reveal the Heart of the Father to you! And if you do, get ready for a ride man! Check out Hosea 10:12 and be a doer of the Word in Jesus’ name!

Today, my friend Joe and I visited a man named “Fat Willy. He’s one of the best, if not the best guy in Colorado to take old tube amplifiers to. You walk in the front door of his shop on S. Broadway sideways because there’s racks 15 feet high filled with every kind of tube you can imagine… literally thousands of tubes. I’ve never seen anything like it. The first 3 times that I interacted with Fat Willy, I was totally stunned by his rudeness to me as a customer. But today was different…today my judgements of Fat Willy bit the dust as he sat and talked with us for nearly a half hour about all kinds of stuff. The guy is hilarious! As flabbergasted as I was after my first encounters with Fat Willy, I was that much more after this visit. Ironically, on the way over there I was talking to Joe about the Fear of the Lord, and how, if it is the motivator of your heart, you are not judgemental. At least, you’re not judgemental in terms of making snap decisions about someone based on what you see or hear. But the Fear of the Lord does give you discernment. There’s a huge difference in being judgementmental and having discernment. (Is. 11:2-5). I was judgemental toward Fat Willy because of what I saw and heard, but I didn’t have discernment toward him. As I’m sitting here writing, I’m praying for Fat Willy, but I’m also repenting to God because of my judgementalism.

PS: He’s big, but he’s not really that fat…weird. I think I’m going to change my name to “Heavy D”… but I’m pretty sure that’s already taken.
